A holy man was having a conversationwith the Lord one day and said.'Lord, I would like to know whatHeaven and Hell are like. The Lord led the holy man to twodoors. He opened one of the doors and theholy man looked in. In the middle ofthe room was a large round table. Inthe middle of the table was a large potof stew, which smelled delicious andmade the holy man's mouth water. The people sitting around the tablewere thin and sickly. They appeared tobe famished. They were holdingspoons with very long handles thatwere strapped to their arms and eachfound it possible to reach into the potof stew and take a spoonful. But because the handle was longerthan their arms, they could not get thespoons back into their mouths. The holy man shuddered at the sightof their misery and suffering. The Lord said, 'You have seen Hell. They went to the next room andopened the door. It was exactly thesame as the first one. There was thelarge round table with the large pot ofstew which made the holy man's mouthwater. The people were equipped withthe same long-handled spoons, but herethe people were well nourished andplump, laughing and talking. The holyman said, 'I don't understand. It is simple,' said the Lord.'It requires but one skill. You seethey have learned to feed eachother, while the greedy think onlyof themselves.'When Jesus died on the cross, he wasthinking of you. Its estimated 93%won't forward this.
